As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school site, overseeing premises, grounds, security, health and safety compliance and contractor activity. You will coordinate maintenance and minor works, manage site-related resources and ensure consistently high standards across the school.

Firs is a Good school, as confirmed at our last Ofsted inspection in June 2022. The Inspectors felt that: “Firs Primary School is an inclusive, happy and welcoming school. The ‘Firsy Five’ values are at the heart of everything staff and pupils do.  Staff and pupils ensure that everyone, including those who are new to the country, feel safe and welcomed…This is a school that cares for all.”

The School is proud of its diverse community and is keen to appoint a new member to help us in our continuing efforts to support our pupils in helping them to feel secure, supported and loved whilst enabling them to achieve academic success and emotional and social wellbeing.

As Site Manager, you will need to share our commitment and vision and will be part of a team of like-minded colleagues. This post will suit someone who is passionate and motivated. Our vision “Learning, Growing and Achieving Together” underpins our approach and values, so it is important that the successful candidate can fully embrace and embody this philosophy.

DDAT welcomes a diverse population of both children and staff and is committed to promoting and developing equality of opportunity in all its functions.

DDAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, online checks, completion of a probationary period, pre-employment and Disclosure Barring Service checks.
