  • Behaviour

At Firs Primary School, we have high expectations of the children’s behaviour and encourage respect for others and self-discipline. We strive to raise children’s self-esteem so that they are confident and have a sense of pride.

Our Positive Behaviour Policy can be found on our policy page by clicking here.

Further information in respect of the possibility of searching a child if the need arises can be found on the government website.

We use Class Dojo as a reward system for behaviour/attitudes to learning. Class Dojo is a popular reward system that is used in many schools across the country.

Each child will be given their own Dojo character and will gain points for the following attitudes: (FIRSY 5)
Fascinated: they inspire and encourage others.
Independent: they get on with their learning.
    Respectful: they use their manners.
Sociable: they get along with others and can work as part of a team
You can do it: they keep going and don’t give up when things are hard.
